Industry Quality Standards (IQS)
ILG must comply with all industry quality standards, and therefore all of ILG’s independent contractors must do so as well. These quality standards include supplier/manufacturer requirements for their products, standards published by industry trade associations and similar bodies, and other common and generally followed standards in the industry (collectively “Industry Quality Standards”).
A list of current Industry Quality Standards can be found at interiorlogicgroup.com/independent-contractors. Note also that the Industry Quality Standards may change periodically, and it is the Independent Contractor’s responsibility to regularly check interiorlogicgroup.com/independent-contractors or independently check for any changes in Industry Quality Standards over time.

Quality Checks and IC Verifications
The ICs must perform the following quality checks for each trade on every job to confirm that the Industry Quality Standards are being met. The quality checks also require the IC to submit an online verification:
For each trade on every job, the IC’s representative (typically the crew lead) must complete and submit the online “Industry Quality Standards Verification” for each specific job:
- In progress: at around 50% of completion
- Post Walk: at completion
to confirm the IC’s work is meeting Industry Quality Standards. These verifications will each contain a subset (which may change from time to time) of the full list of Industry Quality Standards check list items available below.
Alerts
In addition to the IC, ILG will also be checking job quality. It is the IC’s responsibility to provide the ILG Field Manager with sufficient evidence that the IC’s work meets Industry Quality Standards.
ILG will alert an IC if any quality check by an ILG Field Manager indicates the Industry Quality Standards are not being met by that IC’s employees. The IC should have its employees address any such alert promptly in order to guarantee the satisfaction of the relevant builder/homeowner.
An alert will be communicated as an onsite verbal notice from the ILG Field Manager to the IC’s representative (typically the crew lead). Once there is an alert for a specific project, the ILG Field Manager will follow up at that job site to ensure the quality issue has been addressed.
If a second alert is required for the same issue (because it has not been addressed promptly), a second verbal warning will be given. If a third alert is required for the same issue, it will be in the form of a breach letter sent by ILG to the IC’s business address.
Training Guides
ILG offers voluntary trainings to ICs and their employees. While not mandatory, these voluntary trainings should help any participant comply with Industry Quality Standards for the trade covered in that training.
ICs should check with local ILG branch leadership teams regarding invitations for their employees. Anticipating that at least some ICs’ employees will participate in such trainings, ILG has uploaded a “Voluntary Training Companion Guide” for each training offered by ILG.
